Admission Requirements

The minimum guidelines for admission to the program are an upper division (junior and senior) grade point average of 3.0 or better, a score at or near the 50th percentile on the GRE (150 on each of the verbal and quantitative, and a 4 or greater on the analytical portion of the GRE OR a combined score of 1000 or higher on the verbal and quantitative sections, and a satisfactory writing score on the older version of the GRE). Also accepted are the equivalent results on the MCAT, LSAT, or GMAT. Please note that the GRE score is one element of your application and the program views the entire file holistically in making a determination of admission. These indicators are considered along with other evidence of preparation including letters or recommendation and a personal statement. The application deadline for regular graduate admission is July 1 for the fall term beginning late August; November 1 for the spring term beginning early January. The application deadline for international graduate admission is six months prior to the beginning of the term.
