Research Activites:

Anastasiia Vlasenko is a Ph.D. candidate who studies authoritarian politics and democratization with specialization in politics of Ukraine and Russia. In particular, she focuses on transitional period reforms, legislative politics, propaganda, and elections. Her dissertation investigates how legislative networks affect corruption, political survival, and policymaking under the conditions of weak institutional development.
