Askew School Rises High in National Rankings

The latest annual college rankings released by U.S. News and World Report show the Askew School of Public Administration and Policy has risen several points, both overall and in a specific area.

The Askew School cracked the Top 25 among graduate public affairs programs, moving up three spots from last year to No. 25. The school’s local government management program also climbed four places to No. 8 and rose to No. 7 among public universities.

“We’re proud to see that this ranking reflects the college’s and program’s commitment to scholarship with impact, amplified by our location in Florida’s capital city,” said Tim Chapin, dean of the College of Social Sciences and Public Policy, which houses the Askew School. “The college is home to many policy-orientated programs that share the core values of evidence-based policy-making, community engagement and innovation in research and practice.”
