The "How" of Social Innovation and Entrepreneurship: From Inspiration to Application

A talk by Greg Van Kirk, principal designer of the award-winning MicroConsignment Model, a globally applied approach to social entrepreneurship. He is co-founder of ProjectX, a former Ashoka Leadership Group Member, and was the World Economic Forum's Social Entrepreneur of the Year for 2012.

Van Kirk co-founded Community Empowerment Solutions, Social Entrepreneur Corps, and Ultimiya Consulting. He has been a consultant to USAID, VisionSpring, the Inter-American Development Bank, Water For People, and Fundacion Paraguaya in the US, Latin America, Asia, and Africa. Greg began working in rural small business development as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guatemala.
