Sociology Grad Students Awarded
Two graduate students in the Department of Sociology have been recognized with awards from the university and the National Science Foundation (NSF).
The FSU Program for Instructional Excellence has selected Lacey Ritter to receive an Outstanding Teaching Assistant Award for her work during the 2015-2016 academic year. In addition to a certificate of recognition, Ritter will receive a $750 cash prize at the university’s Celebration of Graduate Student Excellence on April 13, 2016.
Stella Min is one of four FSU grad students to receive an NSF Graduate Research Fellowship to support her research. The award provides $34,000 per year, plus additional funds for education-related costs, for up to three years.
