Research Opportunities for Graduate Students

I am currently accepting new graduate students (Masters and Doctoral) with a range of related research interests. I am particularly interested in working with students on topics such as commuting/labor markets, accessibility to goods/health services, aging populations, sustainable energy, hazards and humanitarian aid, and mobile objects tracking in GIS.  

I have several active projects, and recently concluded a study supported by the National Science Foundation (NSF) on mobile objects' movement as captured by GPS data sources (e.g. vehicles, animals, pedestrians, etc.). Example projects (and sample outputs) include:
