Shawn Lewers is the current Director of the Geographic Information Systems Laboratory (GIS Lab). He holds a Bachelors degree in History and Social Science Education and a Masters Degree in Urban and Regional Planning with specialization in Environmental Resource Management. Shawn has roughly ten years of experience as a professional planner and GIS technician in both the public and private sectors, primarily working with and employing GIS technology in rural areas.
