Dmitry Ryvkin is the Bernard F. Sliger Professor of Economics. He joined FSU in 2006 after graduating with a Ph.D. in Economics from the Center for Economic Research and Graduate Education – Economics Institute (CERGE-EI) in Prague, and with a Ph.D. in Physics from Michigan State University in East Lansing. In his research, Dr. Ryvkin combines theory and laboratory experiments to address a diverse set of questions in applied microeconomics. His topics of interest include incentives in organizations, corruption and adverse behaviors, political economy, overconfidence, and games with dynamic externalities.
