David J. Cooper is a Professor of Economics. He is a graduate of Harvard University (A.B., 1988) and Princeton University (PhD, 1993). Dr. Cooper’s research focuses on experimental economics with applications to game theory, managerial decision making, and entrepreneurship. He has written papers on learning in strategic settings, decision making by teams in strategic settings, overcoming coordination failure within organizations, and the role of communication in fostering collusion. His work has appeared in, among others, the American Economic Review, the Journal of Economic Theory, Games and Economic Behavior, the Rand Journal of Economics, and the Journal of the European Economic Association. Dr. Cooper serves on the editorial boards of Economic Theory and Experimental Economics. He has received multiple grants from the National Science Foundation as well as other sources.
