Register for Summer and Fall 2022 classes before April 29

Message originally sent to COSSPP students who were not registered for a class in either or both Summer or Fall 2022.

Good Monday morning!

We are reaching out today because you are currently a student in a College of Social Sciences and Public Policy major, and FSU’s computer system indicated that as of last Friday morning, you may not yet have registered for coursework in one or both of the Summer or Fall 2022 semesters.

Remember that Summer and Fall registration is open at the same time, and both close at 11:59 pm EDT on Friday, April 29.

If you are planning to graduate in either Summer or Fall, make sure to speak with an academic advisor before the semester starts in order to verify that you have registered for everything you need to meet graduation requirements.

New student orientation for Summer and Fall admitted students occurs in May and June, meaning that many or most remaining seats will fill up before open registration in July (for Fall) or the Drop/Add period at the beginning of each semester.

Secure your seats in classes now! And remember – if you are not registered for at least one credit hour prior to the start of the semester, you will be charged a $100 late registration fee.

If you need any advising assistance, please email our academic advising office at or schedule an appointment or sign in for virtual drop-ins through Campus Connect.
