Not yet registered for Fall 2022 classes

This message was sent Friday, July 15, to COSSPP undergraduate students not currently registered for the Fall 2022 semester.

Happy Friday!

We are reaching out because you are a student in a College of Social Sciences and Public Policy major, and FSU’s computer system indicates that as of this morning, you may not have registered for Fall 2022 classes.

Open registration for Fall 2022 re-opens Monday, July 18 – Friday, August 5.

All students may register for classes or adjust schedules during open registration. The Fall 2022 drop/add period is August 20-25.

Secure your seats in classes now! Drop/add is not intended as a primary registration period but is for making schedule adjustments. There is no guarantee that you will be able to secure course registration if you wait until drop/add.

If you are not registered for at least one credit hour prior to the first day of class (August 22), you will be charged a $100 late registration fee.

Do not wait until drop/add to check your schedule or get academic advising.

Waiting until drop/add for advising assistance results in longer wait times and delayed email response times due to the high volume of students meeting with our offices.

For advising assistance email our academic advising office at coss-advising@fsu.edu or schedule an appointment or sign in for drop-ins through Campus Connect.

There will be limited advising availability on the following days due to new student orientation:

  • July 15 and 25
  • August 1, 5, 15, 16, and 18

If you have any questions about this message, please respond to coss-advising@fsu.edu.
