Summer 2021 Drop/Add Information
Summer A/B Drop/Add: May 8, 12:01 am – May 13, 11:59 pm.
Summer C Drop/Add: June 19, 12:01 am – June 24, 11:59 pm.
Schedules are finalized and students are grade and fee liable after Drop/Add ends.
May 10-14 and June 21-25: access our open Zoom call.
All advising availability for Summer Drop/Add periods (May 10-14 for Summer A/B and June 21-25 for Summer C) will be accessed via moderated Zoom calls at the following address: https://fsu.zoom.us/j/95047097526
Students must be signed into Zoom through their FSU account to access the call. See the authentication section below if having issues with logging in.
Advisors will be available for students to sign in and speak with from 8:30-11:30 AM and 1:00-3:30 PM.
Note: there may be an extended wait time before being admitted to the main Zoom call depending on how many students are in line.
Authentication issues logging into Zoom?
You must be logged into Zoom through your FSU account. If you are receiving an error message that says only authenticated users can log in, follow these steps:
- Log out of the Zoom app if you currently have it signed in.
- Log in to fsu.zoom.us – also accessible through my.fsu.edu if you click on the Zoom icon – using your FSUID and password.
- Relaunch the Zoom advising call.
Email advising during drop/add
Please allow ample time (2 business days) for advisors to respond as this is an extremely busy time of year.
Repeatedly emailing the same question may actually delay a response as email threads will be bumped to the back of the email queue by new messages.
Regular advising processes are available through Campus Connect outside of Drop/Add dates
All advising services – appointments or drop-ins – can be accessed virtually through Campus Connect for the Summer 2021 semester.
