COSSPP Bylaws Update Project

The college is working to update its bylaws. This update will bring them in line with current university policy, connect them with the goals and objectives of COSSPP Strategic Plan, and help prepare the college for ongoing changes to university, the State of Florida, and higher education.

DRAFT College Promotion Standards Update

How to Provide Feedback on the DRAFT Bylaws and DRAFT Promotion Standards

Over the course of the Spring 2021 semester, COSSPP faculty and staff will be given opportunities to provide feedback on the new DRAFT Bylaws and DRAFT College Promotion standards. Feedback can be provided using a variety of methods:

  • Comment can be provided directly to Dean Tim Chapin (tchapin@fsu.edu) and/or COSSPP Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives Jeff Brown (jrbrown3@fsu.edu) and/or COSSPP Dean’s Office Chief of Staff Tonja Guilford (tguilford@fsu.edu).
  • Faculty or staff can download the DRAFT documents, embed suggested edits in the document(s), and share those suggested edits directly to Dean Tim Chapin (tchapin@fsu.edu) and/or COSSPP Associate Dean for Strategic Initiatives Jeff Brown (jrbrown3@fsu.edu) and/or COSSPP Dean’s Office Chief of Staff Tonja Guilford (tguilford@fsu.edu).
  • Comment can be provided at scheduled community meetings to discuss the proposed revisions (dates and times to be announced)
  • Comment can be provided via anonymous online surveys:
  • Comments can be provided to your supervisor, who can then pass along that feedback anonymously to the college leadership.
